Description
Linocut wood printing block. Front: black has solid light brown colour (linoleum), except for the two relief carvings. In the top left corner is a parallelogram shaped recession carved into the linoleum, measuring 15.2cm wide by 4.5cm tall. Engraving inside is 75% horizontal on the right with 25% up and down on the left side. Down the right half of the block, is an recession of a cowboy on a rearing horse with his hand up and his hat in his hand. Just above the cowboy is an recessed circle and another recessed circle is behind his back. Back: 29.1cm by 29.1cm square board is mounted as backing. Along the bottom of this board is a red dotted line surrounded by 2 solid red lines. Below that is a "dash dot" - . line across the board with the words "United States" written underneath. Along the left right side is a squiggly line shaped like a river. In the top right hand corner is a black swervy line across the corner with a piece of tape over top with an orange sticker that has the number "37" on it.
