English Poppy
This poppy is made from paper with two petals, a leaf, a black button, and a plastic stem.
dating back from 1922 it was made by disabled servicemen & women in Richmond, Borough of London.

Canadian Poppies.
The original poppy was centered with black and had a paper backing to it's petals. Then later they changed the petals to the softer plastic poppies and to represent the French green fields they changed the center green. They changed back to it's original black center to mimic real poppies.
There is also a poppy meant to be pressed against glass therefore the center is a suction cup.
The poppies came from Georgina Ewen (Doreen's Mom)
