Description

A perfect seal jar from the Dominion Glass Company. The jar is "square in cross-section with “old style neck, full-wire bail” closure … square jars embossed “THE (in scroll) PERFECT SEAL (all within trailing vines) WIDE MOUTH ADJUSTABLE"(1). There is also the word "tight" embossed on the side of the lip. Metal latch slides over the lid and holds it in place. There are two of these jars at the museum. They were Donated in 1971 along with 7 other different jars.
