Description
Tonsil snares used by Dr. Kiteley and are particularly used for tonsillectomy (removal of tonsils). It goes into the oral cavity looping around the tonsil with a wire loop for removal. This right angle design allows for easy handling of the snare without obstruction the oral cavity. The wire is situated inside of the thin metal tube connected to the handles. To snare in the tonsil they would only close the handle.The tonsil snares were donated by Dr. Kiteley's daughter.
