Description
A tall case clock purchased at the Thos Poulton Sale and donated by Mrs. Nellie Richardson. The clock was made by The E. Ingraham company in Bristol Conn. To find the date of manufacture the clock face needs to be removed. The date is October 1901. The clock is in a walnut cabinet with gold etching on the door. The base of the clock is rectangular wooe with curved pieces at the bottom. The top and side of the cabinet have a design on them. The sides of the cabinet are plain wood as is the back of the clock. The clock chimes by the hour and one chime for the half hour. There is a gong system for the chime. There is a gold pendulum that moves to keep the time. There is a key in the base of the cabinet to wind the clock.
