Description
A vintage curling iron with green wooden handles. The handles are hinged and fold along the curling rod for storage or travel. When the handles are extended and pushed together the rod opens so that hair can be put in between and curled.  The curling iron would have been heated on the stove or in a fire. It was necessary to tet the curling iron on a piece of paper so that the hair would not be burned.
