Adamie Ashevak (b.1959 Cape Dorset NU) is an Inuit sculptor who creates stone carvings with polar bears as his primary subject. Ashevak was taught how to carve from his parents, accomplished artists Kenojuak Ashevak and Johnniebo Ashevak. He later took on art as a profession at the age of eighteen. His sculptures have been exhibited throughout Canada including the Spirit Wrestler Gallery, Vancouver BC (1996); and La Guilde, Montreal QC (2023).
