Description

Dark grey/black stone carving of a bird. Wings are stretched out, and are carved with lines for feathers. Seven lines through rounded-triangular tail for fathers. Downturned slits for eyes and pointed curved beak. 

From grey stone sculpture of walrus and bird. Bird is dowelled to base while the walrus lays flat on the base. There is a hole for missing figure.
Pegging carvings to a base can be a method to stabilize the objects and have them be more of a tabletop display. Having removable elements pegged to a base, such as with the carving, can be intentional to allow the carvings to be movable for storytelling.
