Description
Bronze commemorative coin from the Untied Arab Republic (1958-1961). Obverse features image of the UAR's coat of arms of standing eagle with its wings outstretched and vertical flag of the UAR. Scroll below the eagle has Arabic text, letters of R.A.U. underneath scroll. Reverse features image of ancient Egyptian gate and hieroglyphics from the city of Luxor.
