Description

First Day cover, June 20. 1980. Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Presented in memory of a Great Canadian by Hon. Ray Hnatyshyn, M.P. Rectangular white envelope with blue print. Capital text on top left corner, text largest on first line. Below an image of JGD from top half of torso up in suit and tie that is bordered with blue design of lines crossing over each other. Smaller text below image. Top right corner has blue stamp featuring side profile of JGD and text around border, and a circular stamp with "Day Of Issue" lettering around image of half mast flag in the middle. Back side has envelope sealed by top flap.
