Description
Silver tray with raised edge and wavy-curved detailing on the rim. Engraved in capital lettering on the middle of the platter, "Presented to JGD at the opening of the nuclear reactor McMaster University April 10, 1959." Name and University name in gothic curved text, other text straight. University crest engraved above text. Crest has eagle within the shield, with open book above and a maple leaf on either side, a crown, and curved motto enclosed above.
