Description
Sterling silver souvenir spoon, tea spoon sized. Over sized stem. Dominion of Canada. Stem features Coat of Arms in colour of the Canadian Provinces (top to bottom); Quebec, Ontario, Nova Scotia (1867-1929), New Brunswick, BC (1895- 1906), PEI, Manitoba, Yukon (Unofficial Edward Marion design, early 20th c.), and Saskatchewan. Topped with the Tudor Crown design (pre QEII?).
Bowl has engraved image of Victoria School (c. 1909/1910) the replacement of the LSS.
Back of spoon has engraved scene of three log drivers on a river with logs in the foreground and forest with cabin in the background. Marks/Labels
