Description
Box holding Grand Master of International Supreme Council - Order of Demolay's necklace (see a). Black box with gold detailing and symbols. Design of rows of diamonds, with alternating rows of 3 gold symbols of fleur de lis in a diamond or 4 crowns. Text printed on bottom of box. Upper inside of box has white lining with dots making diamond pattern;4 are filled in with symbol of fleur de lis. Medal bar across with "The Honorable John G. Diefenbaker" inscribed in cursive text. Lower inside of box is lined with red fabric. It has a rectangular raised section in the middle with round hole at he back and round indentation at the front for pendant to sit in. Sides of rectangular section have metal lining and white strips of fabric that have become spotted brown. Two raised circles on either side of rectangle for protection of the necklace.
