Description

Multiple cut locks of fair coloured and dark coloured hair. Tied up with black ribbon in curls. Samples of hair from John Diefenbaker and Elmer Diefenbaker from when they were children. White paper doily attached to inside of box for protection. Includes handwritten note by Elmer Diefenbaker.

Samples used in the 'Diefenbaby' testing of 2012.

Marks/Labels

Note, written in pencil reads:
"You have an odd picture
of both of us taken in X
and by that you might be able 
to figure out, which hair is the lighter"

Back of note in pen:
"[Illegible] 8/72
[Illegible] Elmer hand writing
