Description
Rectangular relief carved printing block. Front: is prominently a dark green. It fades into red in the top right corner. There are two shapes carved into the wood. The first is a 12.5 by 12.5cm square in the top left corner. The second is a 17.5 by 25.6cm rectangle, which takes up the majority of the right side of the block. There are two sets of parallel lines that run the width and length of the block, and are carved into the block. One of the lines is thin and shallow, and the other is wider and deeper. The lines that run horizintal along the length are 3.8 cm from the edge of the bottom of the block. The other pair that runs vertically along the width is 8cm from the left edge of the block. Both of these were measured from an edge to the larger line of the pair. The rectangle carved into the right side of the block is on a tilt to the right. Back: has a few strips of paper covering parts of the edges. There is tape on the back with "DAG 315" written on it. There is a label on the top side of the block with the previous number on it. There is also the previous temporary number written with permanent marker on the back.Materials
