Description
Rectangular relief carved wood printing block. Front: There is a red-orange colour to the smooth carved wood. This carved wood makes a border around the entire block. Two other strips of wood cut across the middle and create three different sections on the front surface. The first is a rectangle on the left side that has the dimensions 12.2cm by 29.0cm. The top left and bottom right corners are straight rather than cornered. In the middle section the two strips of smooth wood seem to jaggedly outline a word, however, the letters are unclear. There is a small triangle shape made by the smooth wood in the middle of the word shape. The third section is a 22.5cm by 28.8cm rectangle. It's top left and bottom right corners are also straight rather than cornered. Sides: There is a label with the previous temporary number on the left side of the block. Back: There is tape on the back with "DAG 343" written on it. The previous temporary number is also written in black marker on the back. There are three strips of paper that are stuck to the top of the back of the printing block.
