Description

Rectangular solid wood block. Front: red stained. The block has a raised design in the shape of an "X", but curved, similar to the mid-section of an "8". Each corner of the "X" measures 37.5cm long going straight down or up from each corner. The top and bottom then curve down or up to a point 32.5cm from the left edge and 19.7cm from the top and bottom edges. Each side has a semi-circle flat against the edge and curving inwards to form the side indents of the "X". The semi circles are 26.2cm long and have a diamter of 10.9cm. The areas surrounding the "X" have been chiseled down and have "x" marks carved in. Back and edges of the piece are solid plain wood but have residual stains in both red and blue.
