*Text Block* tongue and groove rectangular wood block. Block is a combination of text "TO THE FAIR" with an arrow overlayed pointing to the right. Front: stained red. Block is mostly relief wood with the design and letters recessed. In the top right corner is the word "TO" (5.5cm wide by 2.3cm long--total), beginning 1.5cm from the top edge and 1,4cm from the right edge. In the bottom right corner is the word "THE" measuring 7.3cm wide by 2.5cm long in total and begins 0.8cm from the right edge and 16.4cm from the top edge. The word "FAIR" begins 9.6cm from the right edge and 0.4cm from the top edge and occupies a space of 19.5cm long by 31.3cm wide in total (spaces included). Carved over top / in the foreground of the center of "FAIR" is a right pointing arrow. Arrow tip begins 0.7cm from the right edge and 10.6cm from the top edge. Triangle head forms 2 9cm lines on either side and widens to 9.3cm (8.5cm from the right edge). The arrow then narrows to 6.3cm for the arrow shaft and runs for 32cm. The arrow then widens to 9.5cm wide for the base (fletching) and runs for 10.2cm before angling back in to create the end of the feathers. Remaining wood is relief wood, which is where the red stain is concentrated. Left side has splashes of black stain in the top corner and one line of yellow along the top edge, 13.2cm from the top left corner. Sides: Tiny bit of black stain in top left corner, with yellow stain residue about 13cm to the right. Black stain smudge in bottom left corner. Red stain down the left side. Black marks visible in the wood grain. Back: Black marks are very visible in the wood grain, especially along the top and left sides. Black stain spots down the left and right sides, as well as green stain smudges in the bottom center.
