Description
*Accent/filler (?) block* Tongue and groove rectangular wood block. Front: Block has been stained dark blue, with red stain visible in the recessed areas. Block has mostly been recessed leaving one relief detail consisting of a semi-circle made up of 52,0.8cm wide by 2cm long, rectangles and 2, 1.5cm by0.5cm, right angle triangles on the bottom edge. Semi-circle begins 1cm from the bottom left corner and then goes up 3cm where it meets the left edge for 6cm and curves up to meet the top edge, 12.5cm from the top left corner, for about 5.5cm. It then curves down to meet the right edge, 12.5cm from the top right corner for 5cm before curving down to end at the bottom edge, 1cm in from the bottom right corner. Each rectangle is separated with a linear groove. Recessed area has been carved with a circular tool. Sides: plain wood with residual blue and red ink near the front edges and ink stains in the wood grains. Back: "Red" handwritten in the center; "no. 38" stamped to the right of "Red". Ink stains present in wood grain. NOTE*** through "DAG 322"-- block may be connected to 2015.1.167 as well as 2015.1.25a&b***

;"Red" is handwritten and underlined in pencil on the back of the block in the center. "No 38" has been stamped in black to the right of "Red".
