Description
*Accent Block* Rectangular tongue and groove joined wood block. The block has a plus sign (+) like cutout in the center, essentially made of 3 rectangles put together: 1) 9.3cm from the left edge and 3.2cm up from the bottom edge is a cut out 15cm wide by 3cm long; 2) 3.5cm from the left edge and 6.1cm from the bottom edge 26.2cm wide by 2.6cm long; 3) 7.6cm from the left edge and 8.8cm up from the bottom edge 18cm wide by 3cm long. All cutout starting points are bottom left corner of rectangle cutout--forms one large cutout. Front: Stained red--mostly recessed except for an oval outline in relief wood (1cm thick) which surrounds the cutout and at widest and longest points measures 31.3cm wide by 12.8cm long. Remainder of the board is recessed using circular headed tool. Red stain is more concentrated on the relief oval. Sides: "Bottom" is written in the center of the bottom edge. Plain wood with residual ink stain in the wood grain and near the front edges. Back: Paper has been glued to the back. Some cut marks surrounding the corners of the cutout are visible. Majority make right angles and visible cuts are about 2.2cm--2.7cm in length.
