Description
*Text block* Tongue and groove joined lino-cut wood block. Front: Lino surface is stained burgundy-red. There are 2 words cut into the lino: "GAYLAND" and "SHOWS". "GAYLAND" is on top and goes across the entire width of the block (right to left). The letters, very slightly, decrease in size so that the word curves over the word "SHOWS". "SHOWS" is 15.5cm wide by 3.6cm tall, and 2.8cm from the left edge. To the right of the first "S" are 2 stars carved in. The first is 3.6cm wide by 2.5cm long and the second is 2.1cm wide by 1.6cm long. The "G" in "GAYLAND" measures 6.1cm wide by 13.2cm long, and the "D" at the end measures 4.4cm wide by 8.8cm long. The bottom left corner is recessed. Sides: splattered with bright blue and yellow. Back: Approximately 6 horizontal and 2 vertical strips of paper glued to the back. Strip of masking tape with "DAG 366" written on it stuck in the middle.
