Description
*Accent block Rectangular tongue and groove wood block. Front: Stained red-mostly recessed wood block with relief wood providing additional detailing and some background at the top. Beginning in the bottom left corner is the relief design of a woman leaning back to present something (in this case horses) with her arms outstretched in front of her. The relief wood outlines her hat, lips, coat (long), and boots, occupying 12.5cm wide by 19cm long. Next relief section is in the center of the block and consists of dotted lines, which accent the bridles of the 3 horses (not pictures). Begins (top left) 8.3cm from the left edge and 12.2cm from the top edge-covering 17.6cm wide by 11.1cm long. Final relief area is at the top and serves as block background outlining an elephant's tusk, mouth and ear. Left side approximately 12.5cm wide by 9cm long and right-2.5cm wide by 11cm long (widest and longest points for both). Sides: Residual red stain near the front relief edges and dark ink in the wood grains. Back: Vertical strip of paper 18cm long attached to the top edge 7cm from the top left corner. Ink stains in the wood and down the left side and bottom edge (multi-coloured). *Must have been a 3 block set-don't know where other parts are*
