Description

Moveable Typeface Rectangular wood block with tongue and groove joints. This block is the ninth block in an 11.5-inch moveably typeface number series of nine blocks. Front: Backwards top half of a "1" done in relief. The recessed wood surrounding it defines the relief number. It is stained red, with the colour fading in the recessed sections on the right side. Side: There is a label on the bottom side with the previous temporary number written on it. Back: Spotted and smeared with red stain from the front. There is some black ink marks on the right edge near the top.
