Description

Moveable typeface Rectangular solid wood block. Block 1 of 5 in a 3-¼ inch tall typeface series. Front: Stained both red and blue (at separate occasions, as the ink did not mix to form purple). Block is mostly relief wood with the letter "A" occupying almost the entire block. Recessed wood is used to accent the letter's edges. Sides: Residual red/blue ink near the block front and in the wood grains. Back: Strip of paper has been glued to fit the entire back of the block. Residual ink stains can be seen at the outer edges of the paper.
