Description

Moveable typeface Tongue and groove joined wood rectangular block. Part 3 of a 4 block 15inch tall moveable typeface number series. Front: Stained bright red-stain concentrated on relief wood. Block is a relief wood "6" or "9" -could be either-with recessed wood defining the number. Recessed area is quite roughly cut. There is a circular (blue?) ink stain in the upper right section of the number. Number is quite square and wide when compared to normal numbers. Sides/Back: Plain wood with residual ink stains in the wood grains and outer edges. "1376" stamped in black in on the back right center area-quite small. *Block described as though it were a six for consistency*
