Description

Moveable typeface Rectangular wood block with tongue and groove joints in it. This block is the 6th in a 9 block 11.5-inch moveable typeface number series. Front: The number "3" is done in relief wood (backwards) on the front surface. The recessed sections help to define the relief number. The relief wood is stained an orange colour, and the recessed wood is stained red. Sides: There is a label on the bottom side with the previous number written on it. There are black ink marks in the wood grain. Back: Two letters are recessed into relief wood, which covers the back surface. The first letter is a capital "N" and the second is a capital "I" with a dash near the top that continues off of the board. The back is stained red, with the colour fading in the recessed sections.
