Description

Moveable Typeface Rectangular wood block with tongue and groove joints. This block is the fourth block in a 9 block 11.5-inch moveable typeface number series. Front: The number is a backwards "2" done in relief. The recessed wood helps to define the number. The block is stained red all over the front surface. Sides: There is a label on the bottom side with the previous temporary number written on it. The red stain from the front surface has bled onto the top edges of the sides. Back: Splotchy red stain all over, as well as black ink marks in the wood grain. There are blue lines in the middle, and a green ink smudge to the left.
