It is a rectangular wood block with a carved quarter circle at the top right corner. The relief surface is stained dark burgundy with bright red drops of ink. The carved area is stained dark red. The back is stained with black and red ink. On the top right corner there is a piece of glued paper that has been there for some time as the paper is stained like the rest of the block. The old accession number is written on a sticker on the bottom edge. This block is similar to 2018.1.39, 2018.1.38 and 2018.1.37 in terms of size and composition. Materials
