It is a rectangular block of wood with a carved relief of the letter "N" backwards. The surface is stained dark red with black smudges/marks. The surface of the relief appears to be buffed or polished. The shape of the "N" is not propitiate in terms of spacing and balance. The back has minor staining, smudges and marks of black and red ink. Materials
