It is a rectangular block of wood with a carved relief of the letter "R" backwards. The relief surface is stained dark red and negative space is stained with black and red ink. There are small smudges and drops of black in on the relief surface. The back is lightly marked with faded black ink. There is a piece of paper glued on the bottom left corner and ha the same marks/stain pattern/amount as the rest of the block (indicating how long the paper has been glued onto the block. Materials
