It is a rectangular block of wood with a carved relief of the letter "T". The vertical and horizontal components of the "T" are not proportional in comparison to modern standards/aesthetics. The relief surface is stained with dark blue ink and the carved surface is a dull dark blue (buildup of dirt is a contributing factor to the dullness of the blue). There is a buildup of dirt and grime on the sides of the "T". The back is stained with large marks of dark blue ink. Materials
