It is a rectangular block of wood with a carved relief of the number "1" backwards. The relief appears to be buffed or varnished and carved by machine due to the lack of errors and overall consistency. The relief is coloured with brown, black and burgundy ink and carved down portion is red and black. The back is stained black with raised, curved and horizontal lines across. Materials
