It is a rectangular block of wood with a hand carved zero (or less likely the letter "O"). The carved surface is red and relief surface is a dull Burgundy. It also appears someone tried to sand off the varnish as there are many small patches of the varnish. The back is minority marked with black and red ink and fingerprints in red ink. The bottom and top edges are chipped and there are splinters on the top right edge. Materials
