It is a rectangular block of wood with a hand carved relief of the number "2" backwards. The surface is stained burgundy. On the wood of the carved down portion there is a large shallow hole on the left side. Likely occurred during original carving process as it is stained. The back is extensively stained with black and burgundy ink. Materials
