It is a rectangular block of wood with a hand carved relief of the letter "A". The relief is dark red and blue and varnished. The carved down portion is dull dark blue with a thick layer of dust. The wood of the back is discoloured with age/use and stained with brown, black, red and green. Chipping go wood on side edges. Materials
