It is a rectangular block of wood with a hand carved relief of the letter "O" or a zero. The relief is dark red with patched of dark blue. The carved down area is dark blue with a thick layer of dust. The back is marked with blue and red ink. There is a 2cm long carved groove that is carved down to 0.1cm underneath the top surface.
