Description

It is a rectangular block of wood with a hand carved relief of the letter "S" backwards. The relief is dark brown/ black and appears to be varnished. The carved down portion is covered in a layer of dirt and coloured auburn and black. There is a 2cm patch of bright red on the relief surface. The back is minimally marked with faded black and red ink. There are small nail holes: 2 on the left side, 2 on the right side, 2 on the top and 1 on the bottom.
