It is a rectangular block of wood with a machine carved relief of the letter "D". The majority o fit left side of the "D" appears to have evenly chipped off or been carved off (like 2018.1.72). The relief is varnished and is light orange. The carved down portion is midnight blue. The back is minority marked with faded black ink. Materials
