It is a rectangular block of wood with a machine carved relief of the letter "A". The surface is varnished and the relief is dark red, black and light brown. And the carved down portion is dark red and black. The back is discoloured and marked with faded black ink across the majority of the surface. Has raised curved lines across surface. Materials
