It is a rectangular block of wood with a hand carved relief of the number "8". The relief is stained or varnished and is red. The carved down surface is rough and is dark red with layer of dust. The back is dark blue with patches of red/orange ink. Appears to have been part of another block as it has one partial relief. Materials
