It is a rectangular block of wood with a hand carved relief of the number "0" (movable typeface). The relief surface appears to be varnished or stained and is red black and burgundy with grain of wood visible as if areas were partially sanded or buffed off. The carved down portion is rough, dark red and has a layer of dust. The back is stained brown, black and dark red. Materials
