It is a rectangular block of wood with a hand carved relief of the number "5" backwards (movable typeface). The relief is varnished or stained and is a combination of black, red and burgundy ink. Grain is evident in sections as if buffed or sanded down. The carved down portion is rough, dark red and covered in a layer of dust. The back is a combination of black, brown and red. Materials
