It is a rectangular block of wood with a machine carved relief os the letter "R" backwards (moveable typeface). The relief appears to be varnished or stained and is a combination of Burgundy, black and grey. The carved down portion is dark blue and dark red. The back is discoloured and is marked with dark blue, black, brown and red ink. Has raised curved lines across surface. Materials
