Description

It is a rectangular block of wood with a carved relief of the letter "T" (movable typeface). The relief surface is glossy/smooth as the original coat of varnish is still evident and is dark red and red. The pattern of the wood grain is also still evident. The carved down portion is dark red and black with a layer of dust. The old accession number is written on the bottom edge in permanent marker. There are small nail hole on the bottom edge. The back is stained with red, brown and black pigment and is discoloured/varnished.
