Description

It is a rectangular block of wood with a carved relief of the letter "H" (movable typeface). The original coat of varnish is still evident on the relief surface. The relief is a combination of brown, dark red, orange light orange and auburn. The carved down portion if a combination of red and dark blue with a layer of dust. The back is discoloured and marked with faded black, brown and red pigment.
