It is a rectangular block of wood with a hand carved relief of the letter "X" (movable typeface). The relief is auburn and light auburn. The carved down portion is a matte brown/purple with a layer of dust. The back is marked with faded black, brown, red and dark blue pigment with some in fingerprint/smudge form. Materials
