It is a rectangular block of wood with a hand carved relief of the of an oval. The relief is a darker yellow and marked with dirt/grime. The carved down portion is brown/yellow and carving marks are evident. The word "TOP" is written in pencil on the right side and the word "BOTTOM" on the left side. The back is covered in criss crossed strips on masking tape or glued on paper. It is discoloured by dirt and time.Materials
