It is a rectangular block of wood with a hand carved relief of the number "3" (movable typeface). The relief is red and the carved down portion is a matte rust colour. The pattern of the wood grain is still evident on the relief and carving marks/dents are evident on the carved down portion. The back is marked with faded red and brown pigment. The right side is partially covered in the remnants of partially ripped off paper or tape. Materials
