It is a rectangular block of wood with a hand carved relief of the number "2" (movable typeface). The relief surface is red and the pattern of the wood grain is still evident in some areas. The carved down portion is a matte rust colour. The back is discoloured with dirt and grime and marked with faded red and black pigment with drops of dark blue pigment. Materials
