Description

It is a rectangular block of wood with a carved relief of the letter "R" backwards (movable typeface). The relief surface is a combination of burnt orange, orange and brown with spots of black pigment. The carved down portion is a deep Burgundy. The pigment on these surfaces have naturally darkened with time and use. The back is discoloured with dirt/grime and darkened with time and age too. Also marked with black, dark blue and red pigment.
